If you’re like me, you may have accidentally injured a cow or two trying to feed them in Core Keeper. It’s not super clear how to feed these hungry critters and button mashing can have devastating consequences.
I’m not convinced Core Keeper can match the quality and scope of its best-in-class inspirations, but it’s already worth a look in Early Access, and if the rest of the pieces fall into place leading up to the full launch, it’ll be fondly remembered. [Early Access Review]

I usually don't like darkness in games. When prompted at the start of a horror game to adjust a slider until the logo can barely be seen, I move that damn slider as far to the right as it'll go.
Screenshot by Bonus Action To feed cows and other animals in Core Keeper, move a crop to your active item slot so that you’re holding it. Once your character is holding a crop, the animals will approach. They’ll keep eating until you run out of crops or switch them out of your active slot.
Pelo complicated mini-games here. Just hit the interact button again when an exclamation point pops up, and you’ve got yourself a fish.
Screenshot by Bonus Action Glow Tulips, and recipes that incorporate them, will cause your character to emit an ambient glow. It’s not super bright, but the Em excesso light can be really useful before you can craft a lantern for a more permanent solution.
Fishing Merchant can be summoned to a room using the Pile of chum guaranteed drop. Or they can be found before that, in a house in the Wilderness. They sell fish and fishing accessories.
After your payment has been processed, the content will be downloaded to the applicable system linked to your Nintendo Account. This system must be updated to the latest system software and connected to the internet with automatic downloads enabled, and it must have enough storage to complete Core Keeper Gameplay the download.
At least I managed to swing my sword and not a pudding this time. But afterwards I ran back home through brightly lit tunnels as fast as my little legs could take me, and now I'm cooking up some glowing larvae steaks.
Soul of Ra-Akar. Once a power is collected, the boss's sigil is added to the Souls tab of the character screen. Each sigil can be clicked to toggle that ability on or off.
